Mr. Hackett, a native of New Orleans has been a performing and teaching musician for the past 25 years. Mr. Hackett has loved performing both sacred and secular music. He is sought out as a recording artist, both as an instrumentalist, vocalist as well as an arranger. Mr. Hackett received his bachelors in music performance (flute) from the University of New Orleans, LA. where he studied flute under Mr. Richard Harrison.
