Our goal is to educate and to develop self-discipline,
and self-confidence in our students. Studies over the years have
shown the positive effect of learning music. The results are
usually seen in better school grades, better social skills, and better
comprehensive thinking. We strongly feel that what we do with
music education can change lives for the better.

| Andy Hymel's School of Music offers a safe
environment for students to learn. All of our classrooms are
equipped with a full view storm door to allow for visibility. We
encourage parents to be involved and welcome them to any and all lessons
taught. We feel that the parents' knowledge of what is being
taught will only strengthen the lessons being learned. We have an
open door policy, meaning that we welcome students, parents, and
prospective students to come by and see what is going on in the school.

Andy
Hymel has been teaching music for over 25 years. Many of his
students achieve higher goals in music than expected. He regularly
has students accepted into NOCCA, the New Orleans Center for the
Creative Arts. He also has students regularly receive scholarships
to various colleges of music. Recently, three of Andy's students
have received full scholarships to Loyola University of New Orleans. |
